FAWE Tanzania was honoured to participate in the Inaugural East African Community (EAC) Regional Education Conference, which brings together CSOs, key stakeholders, organizations across the East African Community (EAC) member states (8 countries). The conference commenced on August 12, 2024, in Arusha, Tanzania under the theme: “Educating an Africa Fit for the 21st Century: Collective Action for Quality, Inclusive, and Lifelong Learning in East Africa.”
On August 14, 2024, FAWE Tanzania led a discussion on ‘Enhancing Educational Resilience and Effectiveness through FAWE’s Gender-Responsive Pedagogy.’ Ms. Mary Mwakawago presented on how Gender-Responsive Pedagogy is crucial in enhancing educational resilience and effectiveness in schools, benefiting both girls and boys.
