FAWE Tanzania (FAWETZ) works closely with the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology (MOEST) as well as other key education stakeholders in Tanzania. We continue to build strong partnerships and collaborate with development partners such as UNICEF, UNESCO, and other like-minded organizations including African Initiatives, Children in Crisis, Save the Children, CAMFED, Tanzania Education Network (TEN/MET), and various communities, schools, and NGOs to promote equity and equality in education.
FAWETZ is a member of several important groups, including the Tanzania Education Network (TEN/MET), the Girls' Education Caucus Group, So They Can, Classroom for All, the Tanzania Gender in Education Initiative (TGEI) — for which we serve as the Secretariat — as well as FEMACT and TEMCO. Additionally, FAWETZ works in close collaboration with universities such as MUCE, DUCE, UDOM, and Mzumbe, particularly on Gender Responsive Pedagogy (GRP) initiatives.
