Tuseme
Tuseme meaning ‘’Let us speak out’’, is an empowerment program that helps boys and girls recognize challenges, articulate them, and take action. It aims to transform gender relations by equipping students with skills to eliminate discrimination and inequalities.
Tuseme has been implemented in 56 districts across 15 regions in Tanzania. The model has reached over 500,000+ students building their confidence, skills and enabling them to report cases of school and community violence.
The Tuseme model have brought great impact such as Improved self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills, improved Academic performances, decrease in School-Girl Pregnancies/drop out and reduction in Sexual Harassment.
