Addressing Violence in Schools, Reporting and Policy Change in Tanzania.

Addressing Violence in Schools, Reporting and Policy Change in Tanzania- funder by Wellsprings Philanthropy Fund, whose main aim is to advance girls’ education in Tanzania by addressing systemic barriers to quality and inclusive education. The project is being implemented in 3 regions: Tabora, Singida and Geita.

The programme integrates FAWE’s demonstrative models: TUSEME, Gender-Responsive Pedagogy (GRP), and Centres of Excellence (COEs) into a unified approach that promotes both educational success and social welfare for girls. It focuses on evidence-based advocacy, policy influence, teacher training, and chapter capacity-building to remove barriers to girls’ education and drive long-term change.

The project predominantly targets Students, Teachers, Parents and Government Officials. Ministries engaged are Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST), Prime Minister’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG), Ministry of Community Development Gender, Women and Special groups (MoCDGWSG), and Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affair (MoCLA).
