Ending Violence in Schools, Reporting, and Policy Change in Tanzania.
FAWE Tanzania has successfully handed over Suggestion Boxes to schools implementing the project “Ending Violence in Schools, Reporting, and Policy Change in Tanzania.” The beneficiary schools include Mgusu Secondary School in Geita, Lulumba Secondary School in Singida, and Magiri Primary School in Tabora.
These suggestion boxes will serve as a safe and confidential platform for students to report any form of violence or abuse they experience within or outside the school environment.
FAWETZ has also established Child Protection and Safety Desks in these schools, bringing together student representatives, guidance teachers, and parents from the Community Advocacy Forums to strengthen child safeguarding structures.
The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continue working closely with community advocacy forums to provide regular awareness sessions that empower students to know their rights and report any form of violence, 21 October 2025
