Launch of the National Re-entry Implementation Plan & the Study on Impact Assessment of School Re-entry policies in Tanzania Mainland.
FAWETZ was among the stakeholders who attended the launch of the National Re-entry Implementation Plan and the Study on Impact Assessment of School Re-entry Policies in Tanzania Mainland. The event took place on 12th November 2025 at Serena Hotel, Dar es Salaam. The guest of honour was Dr. Hussein Mohamed Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.
The launch holds great importance in strengthening the implementation of re- entry policy that aims to ensure all children especially girls who dropped out due to various reasons such as pregnancy, poverty, or social challenges are being given a second chance to continue their education.
This initiative represents a vital step toward building an inclusive education system that provides equal opportunities for every child and ensures that no one is left behind because of their circumstances. It also offers guidance for the government and education stakeholders in developing sustainable strategies to remove barriers that hinder children from accessing education.
FAWETZ will continue to work hand in hand with the government, CSOs and other partners to implement this plan and ensure that all children, especially girl’s enjoy their fundamental right to education and fulfil their dreams.
